Why it exists
An agency finishes a site, hands it over, and then spends years being emailed about phone numbers and opening hours. Bolting a CMS onto a finished site means modelling every field by hand and teaching the client a panel they open twice a year. Rebuilding on WordPress throws away the stack the agency chose on purpose.
CMS Brew is the third option. It reads the site's own repository, works out which strings and images are content, and gives the client a chat box. Safe changes publish as one Git commit to the repository the developer already deploys from. Anything structural is refused in the editor and handed back to the developer.
Who builds it
CMS Brew is built and run by its founder, Andrew. There is no support queue between a customer and the person who wrote the code: andrew@cmsbrew.com reaches him directly, and so does the help button on every page of this site.
How the business works
- Pricing: One plan, $39 a month, every feature included. It covers 5 connected websites, and each extra site is $10 a month. Annual billing charges eight months instead of twelve.
- Who pays: The developer or the agency pays, per website. Clients are never charged and never counted as seats.
- Trial: Seven days, no card. When it ends, editing stops and publishing keeps working, so nothing a client already approved gets stranded.
- Payments: Card payments are processed by Stripe. CMS Brew never sees a card number.
